This show will explore the ins and outs of the City Budgeting Process, as well as Council Priorities for our budget. Questions will include: What is the City’s annual budget? How much of the city’s budget is spent on police, public works, parks, etc.? How does the City develop its budget? How do you get citizen input? How does the Council develop budget priorities? Why does the City have to increase taxes? Today's guests are Mayor Jim Godfrey and Caroline Moe, Finance Director.
